Hera Calcio logo

The design I chose was representative of Hera the Greek goddess. Hera is known as the protector of women, marriage and child birth. Calcio in italian is futbol. She also has items that represent her like the lotus, which seemed to fit with the name Hera Calcio. To fit both meanings into the concept was a bit challenging, but then I was reminded of the simplistic Adidas logo and wanted to emulate that.

With all of that in mind, the lotus for Hera was the perfect concept to use for Hera Calcio since it was simple yet meaningful. Using the the outline of the lotus was the perfect fit, making it look like it was weaving together as futbol teams. The lotus shines as Hera would, also as futbol does all over the world.

The concept to my logo uses the X in my first name; powerful and bold, as trying to mark a statement. Wrapped around is a serpant which I got from an aztec deity Quetzalcoatl, also known in the aztec culture as the feathered serpant. This aztec culture is something I really like since my origins are Mexican. With both the X and the feathered serpant (symbolizing death and resurrection) the concept symbolizes the end of old traits and the rebirth of something new.

Global Warming poster

This is a poster that represents how Global Warming is affecting nature and our planet. It is a very dramatic representation of how nature is reaching out to humanity, calling for a fight against climate change.

Soccer Invitational poster

This is a soccer invitational poster for Seattle RATS soccer league. The artwork created is meant to represent all cultures coming together by the beautiful game.

Mexican National Team logo

Recently, the Mexican National redesigned their logo and it lost the essence it once represented. The design I came up is a modern take, taking inspiration from Italian teams such as Juventus and MLS team logos. It is an abstract representation of a warrior mask, complemented with the main colors of the Mexican flag.

Since I believe all logos should be successful as a single color, I decided to show a version of that by placing it on a jersey. It is simple and modern.
